What does the first-year cost include?
For new customers as of November 2025:
Fetch Mini Gen 5 – $511.76 total (includes one-off device purchase, $5 activation fee and 12 months of Ultimate Pack + Fetch Access fee at RRP).
Fetch Mighty Gen 4 – $946.76 total (same inclusions, higher device price with recording function).
No lock-in contracts and no mandatory installation fees.
By comparison, Foxtel Plus base pack totals $1,170 in the first year, including its iQ5 box, a $35 standard connection fee and 12 months of Foxtel Plus with HBO Max Basic (with ads) at RRP.
Are the channels and content the same on Fetch and Foxtel?
No. while there's some overlaps, the two services have different channel mixes and app partnerships.
Do I need a contract or professional installation with Fetch?
No. Fetch has no lock-in contracts and setup is simple. Just connect your Fetch Mini or Mighty to power and internet, activate your account at fetchtv.com.au/activate, and start watching.
Can I use my streaming subscription with Fetch?
Yes. You can sign in to your Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, Paramount+, Stan and other streaming apps account directly from your Fetch menu. Fetch brings over 40 streaming and catch-up apps together in one easy to use interface.
What is Fetch Access?
Fetch Access is the new way to access the core Fetch service. For a subscription of $3.99 per month, you gain access to a wide variety of high-value included Fetch features and included content on the Fetch platform using your Fetch Mini or Mighty device.
Additionally, new customers receive 1 month of the Ultimate Pack (valued at $24.99) on us for the first month (it will renew at $24.99 per month thereafter, and you can cancel anytime), plus 1 Movie Rental Credit (valued at $7.99) for eligible rental titles in the Fetch Movie Store. You’ll also receive 5 bonus Movie Rental Credits when you activate a new Fetch Retail account between 1 December 2025 and 31 December 2025. It’s everything you need to start watching, exploring, and discovering from day one.
The Fetch Access fee of $3.99 per month applies per active account and is currently waived until 31 January 2026.

Foxtel first year total cost $1170 comprising one-off cost of iQ5 box self install kit, one-off standard connection fee $35 and 12 months subscription of $78 per month to Foxtel Plus Base pack including HBO Max Basic plan with ads at RRP (no lock in contract, with no discounts or promotions applied).
Foxtel Plus base pack includes 62 channels and 30+ free to air channels. Fetch Ultimate Pack includes 100+ channels (including free to air, FAST and premium channels). Channels and content on Foxtel and Fetch are not identical. Refer to websites for details.
Fees & Payment
Use of Fetch requires:
• A one-off $5 activation fee per Retail account
• A $3.99/month Fetch Access subscription for features and included content
• When adding additional devices to the same account a $3.99/month Multiroom fee is payable
Payment requires a valid Australian Visa or Mastercard. Transactions will appear on your credit card as Fetch TV North Sydney NSW. All fees are subject to change with notice. Device purchase price is separate from the above fees.
In addition to the purchase price of the Fetch device, there is a minimum first month cost of $8.99 (activation fee + first Fetch Access monthly fee) and minimum monthly ongoing cost of $3.99 (Fetch Access monthly fee).
